It is still very humid and hot - around 42 at midday so the kids were sweating before school even started. The buzz of excitement was tangible as everyone gathered to chat about the holidays and seeing each other again. Owen had a great day and was very happy to report that he had received 4 house points. 3 for team work and 1 for hard work.

Owen Goes To Year 3
After 9 weeks of holiday it was finally the start of the Autumn Term at Park House English School. Owen was very excited to be with his best friend Micheal in Ms Kennedy's class. Ms Kennedy is a Canadian teacher who has been in Doha at the school for 8 years. She is Head of Year 3 and an excellent teacher. I have worked with her in my role as Teaching Assistant. This year the whole of the Year 3 level has been mixed up to get the right balance of children in each class. With so many nationalities it sometimes gets out of balance.
